K.C. Wood comes to Merritt from Florida State University. While at FSU, K.C. excelled in the college of business while majoring in both Risk Management/Insurance and Real Estate. In addition to his academic success, he was also an active member of numerous campus organizations serving in many leadership roles.

Perhaps the most notable of these leadership roles was serving as president of his fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi. During his extended term, K.C. over doubled the size of the organization, as well as negotiated hundreds of thousands of dollars in leases for new housing. He remains involved in the fraternity to this day, serving as an advisor and mentor to its members. His current projects include a new multimillion-dollar housing project for the chapter.

Originally from the Sarasota area, K.C. has admirable devotion to the community. He was recently elected to the board of directors for the Florida Suncoast chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, an organization for which he has been a volunteer for the past 10 years.

K.C. brings his real estate degree and knowledge of the local markets to the Tolar team where he is bringing profitable solutions to the clients and companies he represents.
